With the new year upon us what changes will Olympus make to us at Gyrus and ACMI?

Holy Cow!!!! I just found out from my contact over in Center Valley that some BIG changes are a foot. Compensation plan-redone-cap the earnings of sales people, expense changes very strict, contracts for damn near everything. That's not the end of it. My area here in the West is doomed. Earning potential out the window.....helloooooooo recruiter. My new RSD out of Colorado is clueless just like his counterpart the new VP and the guy running the energy business. Promote the incompetent is the new slogan of the NEW GYRUSACMI. I was talking to some of my fellow reps around me and there is going to be a mass exodus from this place come June. It was fun while it lastest.

Isn't Gyrus ENT going to cut their reps that have gone the distributor route?

Helllo, this is what happens worldwide when Olympus takes over. In Europe all the same, they srcew you with the new comp plan, forget about a bonus and hello backorders. 90% of the sales staff bailed out, and now... Olympus is hiring them back for training the OR staff because they do not have a clou how things are working.

You know when you have idiots around you its hard not to excel. Gyrus management is unbeliveable! Up here in the northeast life is good. The new Reg Dir cant even face us let alone the customer. The old one was just as "good" he just wanted to play golf every time he came up here. Just another year with no help and management who will say they are reponsible for my sucess!

I agree. They left us at Gyrus/ACMI alone. I feel for the poor reps at the other divisions like ENDO and Surgical.
