Wowzers. According to this, DD was responsible for all commercial activities. Since Zipsor has been a miserable failure, is this DD's way of saying "I did it. I'm the one to blame." Awesome. He's finally manning up and accepting some responsibility. Wonder if he'll give any money back???

I wonder what his old boss NG thinks of that claim. I guess she wasn't responsible for anything commercial.

I think its wrong to place the blame on DD. If a parent lets a child drive a car and the child drives the car over a cliff, is it really the fault of the child? No. Its the fault of the parent who put the child in that position in the first place. The board of directors, MV and his jersey minions have to assume the responsibility for Xanadu. DD was just the unwitting fool who was placed in a position of responsibility far beyond his capabilities.

Bad analogy. DD is not a child.

Do the incompetents who appointed him and allowed him to operate without a leash get some blame? Sure. A little bit. The fact remains that DD ruled with an iron fist.

Although DD was inarguably an absolute disaster of a leader and, IMO, an aberration of a human being, he was a helluva salesman. He sold A LOT of people above and below him a bill of goods.

I hope somebody at his new employer clues them into what a surreptitious shit bag he is.

Who reacts to being 'over his head' by absolutely shutting out all outside feedback, ideas, suggestions?? Save your sympathy for those suffering the collateral damage directly resulting from his ego and incompetence.

MV and NG (and the board) own the destruction of this company. Not DD.

Wrong. DD soley dictated marketing and strategy. The failure of Zipsor was almost exclusively his. The failure of Zipsor sunk the company. There were many opportunities to correct the errant course. DD had carte blanche and welcomed no input -- and that is being diplomatic.

Sure, MV came (and left) in the middle of the night like an opportunistic vulture. But DD predated the arrival and survived the departure of MV. MV did was not involved in sales and marketing strategy. Allow me to clarify: MV is a predatory asshole; DD is incompetent leader with a napolean complex, and I am convinced that he is pure evil and beyond contempt.

evil? maybe. definitely a self serving liar, a jekyll and hyde, a bad leader, and an even worse person. ask any of the people who worked directly around him and they will confirm.

+1 on the evil opinion. Id rather work for somebody who is an obvious asshole but honest about who they are than a snake in tne grass

Google Dan. Very impressive the way he networks himself.

Too bad he didn't put the same effort into succeeding at Xanodyne or listening to anybody that he put into trying to secure his next gig. I hope his new employer doesn't have to find out what he's really about the hard way.

say what you want about the current management, at least they are still at xanodyne. both MV and DD couldnt get out fast enough once the house of cards started to collapse. DDs actions were particularly disgusting. he didnt even hang around long enough to talk to his team or to try to help them through this crap. what a self-centered little weasel.

Regardless what your view of SB, DD, MV or NG, my question is this! What is the future of the company? Are we going to survive? Who is tired or driving three hours to their first office? Who even cares anymore?

6-8 months this place will be gone. Zipsor will be sold and we will all be out of here with no severance. My job for the time left here is to fake sales calls, work 10-2 Tues and Thursday, and look for a job Mon, Wed, Fri. Catch me if you can suckers! I am going to tell all of my customers what is going on and will get my friends to help me to keep my numbers up.

I would recommend everyone and I mean everyone else does the same. SB is out of here soon trust me on that one. He looks out for just one person....SB. All of the management left are clowns and patsies.

Good luck to all! BTW- It is Wednesday and I am on here posting in the middle of the day...suckers...thanks for the paycheck!
