if you are ok with having virtually no control of your income and are fine with a total package of $170k then it's worth looking into. There are a few SDEs making more but not because of anything they are doing. Just right spot at the right time. If you are used to a true commission position then don't bother. If you are older and just want to chill and collect $150-$170k then it's a good consideration.

Job is a shit show. Anyone with half a brain is trying to get out. If you're fine being your employee id number and working for terrible managers, go for it. Todd Waters might think he looks cool in his Vineyard Vines gear but he hates his job just as much as his reps do. Not a great faker.
