Anyone else find it distasteful that corporate has ignored what happened to the southeast and hasn’t at least sent out an email? I’ve been thinking about our reps over there. I hope everyone is okay and safe.

This tells you everything you need to know how management feels about the employees. This is totally toxic management behavior. I'm ashamed and embarrassed to be employed by Esperion.
My manager has been supportive and yes, things have been rough, but we’ll get through it. This is not anything that’s so unusual, but it is a major inconvenience and it helps to have the support of management.
100% this is ABSOLUTELY NOT from a rep affected in Appalachia. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING THAT YOU WOULD TRY TO SPIN THIS AS POSITIVE PR YOU VILE PIECE OF SHIT. PEOPLE LOST EVERYTHING. My manager burned 2 sites on one visit!!! I guess they were going to show me how it’s done. One of the sites had started writing a ton and had become one of my top writers. Last 2 weeks he’s stopped writing completely and won’t let me back now when I had full access before. The 2nd office, I called yesterday to confirm a lunch, and the OM said he said I can’t do any more lunches there. Canceled them all!!!! Thanks manager. You really did show me how to do it. And for what it’s worth, my manager hasn’t mentioned anything about the NC flooding. I would have thought we would have at least heard condolences for those with family there. All I’ve heard is 9 calls a day and challenge the docs. Obviously that worked out for my manager.

I had something similar happen. I’m in the process of mending relationships. I wish they did quarterly ride alongs like other companies. Managers don’t know how to read the audience

Why do the doctors stop prescribing such a good drug that helps so many people when they take it over some petty bs? Also everyone says sales management is mostly trash. Why is this the case! I hope Sheldon sells this company to someone who can actually sell this game changing drug. His failed leadership is impressively bad.

Too many managers go in with a chip on their shoulder and an ego. Remember, the best reps don’t want to be managers but the biggest slackers do, who also happen to be either the biggest drinkers/partiers or butt kissers. I stopped listening to managers years ago. Only take them to sites you don’t care to burn. If you have to, play it up like there’s tons of opportunity there.
