Where is access better? South
Where is coverage better? South
Where are reps more spread out geographically? South
Where generates more revenue for Shire? South
Using the parameters laid out on conf calls, where is there a higher (much much higher) usage of IR products vs ER? North
Where do reps struggle to honestly get 7 calls a day? North
Where is there an entire state that the majority of the providers who practice in said state have a restriction that doesn't allow them to see reps? North
Where, when Shire had their most recent expansion, was the biggest increase of # of reps? North
Which area has a larger young adult/adult market? South
Which region has more coupon redemptions? North
Which region has had their goals lowered EACH OF THE LAST 18 months? North
Which region has had their overall market increase each of the 18 months? South
Coincidentally, which region has had their overall market decrease each of the last 18 months? North
Has anyone seen a "current" rep roster? Where are there more vacancies? South

While most of your statements are true...I'm sorry to say that the south will be shockingly hit harder than expected. Am I saying that it will be hit as hard as other areas of the country? No! However, I feel as the number is rolled out tomorrow...it will be much higher than originally expected.

You're seem to think you know something I don't. I know the changes that are going to happen. I know about the zone merge, and all of the layoffs. If the south thought they were immune, they were wrong. But if anyone in the north east thinks they're in better shape, they're dopes.

Bottom line...nobody is "safe"! You are setting yourself up for failure if you do indeed make the "cut" and do not look for another job. This place doesn't have much longer!
