does this place still start at lower than teacher pay? (35k) with not even a cost of living adjustment annually, does this place still give mileage(not equal to what even the govt says is allowed) in stead of a car, does this place still not pay for your cell and storage unit that you use on an everyday basis, does this place still not pay for tires on your automobile, does this place still require pharmacy sheets to stock products because they dont believe in you as an adult employee

i bet the answers are everything is the same and will always be. anyone?

Yes and it is only getting worse. Expected to work 10 hours in the field and then come home and type up reports. You have got to be kidding me. No wonder 3 reps in D5 left. Can you believe it! Chris tries to act like its no big deal but within 1 week 3 reps in 1 district GONE!!! The bad part is that they were actually good reps who worked!

This is the very reason that I left!!!
I was expected to leave my house at 5:30-6am to be in my territory by 8am (which was perfectly fine) and threatened to be written up if I wasn't, but then my manager wouldn't meet me until 10, 10:30, or 11 on ride along days. Then as you said, another 1-3 hours after you got home everyday (at 6-7pm, if you were lucky) was spent doing "busy work" reports that were useless. Everyone at home office likes to brag about Hawthorn being a "family" oriented workplace, just don't expect to actually spend time with YOUR family if you work for them!

Hawthorn has NO loyalty to their reps and seem to be clueless to the fact that when you have mass quantities of good, hardworking reps quitting then it is the company that needs to fix something, not the reps!

Totally agree! This is why I am still looking for another job. I have put in my time and have done my best but Hawthorn is not the place for me. Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side and other pharma companies do offer much better benefits!! Just sayin'

glad i found these threads before accepting a position with this company. sounds like it sucks, never heard of 35k for a pharm sales position or no provided company car. it must be a shitty company. ive read so many negative posts today about this place im not going to bother.
