EH will no longer be protected by Howard.
Hochberg's inept failure to plan for the launch of our products is directly responsible for the floundering state of our company. We can only hope that a new CEO with flush her out along with the spineless cowards in NY that have refused to stand up to her. Only then will Forest stand a chance of survival. Pray our new CEO is an outside hire.
EH gets thrown under the bus just because she is a woman. She is very under appreciated. She has done great things here.

agreed. most reps around the country just don't get it. i have connections in NYC and EH has been instrumental in the success of Forest for a decade.
She is a key Corporate Officer who is deeply involved in every major decision. So OF COURSE she can take credit for any success Forest has had the past decade. But she also MUST take blame for our failures - especially the large number of less than optimal launches we have had the past decade. And there have been a lot. Other than bystolic what launch has been successful? She is also directly responsible for the ISF fiasco and the decision to terminate the LTC division. That decision cost this company over $100MM as Namenda tanked in the aftermath of that myopic decision. I haven't even touched on the talent drain the past decade that can be directly connected to her management style.
You have connections in the NYO and they defend her?? She is smart. She has tremendous industry knowledge. If she ever learned to delegate and incorporate input from others she actually MIGHT be a net plus. But there is little she does that other industry executives could also offer WITH a better management style. If your connections defend her they are either 1) scared for their job. 2) drank the cool aid 3) has not consistent or frequent interactions with her, or 4) will defend her solely since she is a women in a position of power.
Very well said!
Fact of the matter is, upper management has absolutely no clue what goes on in the field these days. The ever growing managed care denials, doctors offices closing their doors to reps, hospitals in bankruptcy... Etc.
This company has not adjusted to any of these changes and actually provide
clear solutions for reps. It's business as usual, just keep launching shitty and underperforming products until they hit a "blockbuster". Wake up!!!! There will be no more Lexapro like blockbusters! Stop launching mediocre drugs that doctors really have no use for.
EH is clearly either in denial or just doesn't care. She will be fine in any regard, doesn't matter what happens to the company. She'll be dancing all the way to the bank!
Look at how many tenured people left In the past few years!!! Look at how bad the current drugs are performing!!
Now that Solomon is gone.. Major changes will take place!
This is the beginning of the end. We are 15 years behind in adjusting to the changing market. Too late to fix it. It is going to be a painful ride down to the bottom. I'm jumping off this train to hell.
