People should not make investment decisions based on messages from message boards and blogs but the fact is there are gullible people out there and when they see what seems like intelligent people writing things that seem legit they listen. I have no doubt many of those postings were and are due to a sincere belief in Provenge but IV and Seeking Alpha and some of those others blogs are about stocks and they may be read by investors who want to make money on a stock. Those message boards should be about business models, margins, cogs, management, management honesty etc in addition to the drug or drugs a company sells.

But, really, who would have guessed that there could be a company so awful that they could go bankrupt with Provenge!?

Now, it's clear that the board is all out of the stock (yea, yea, one person nearly put their quarterly board fee back into the stock--proves the darn point!) and failure works best for them.

What a shame, what a crime, what a shameful crime....

Don't know. Just some guy who has pumped this as it has taken almost a 100% haircut from the mid 50's. He seemed like a smart guy, so I think many gullible people were burned if they listened. He may have put his money where his mouth is. People on some boards are saying he mega bucks. I don't know the whole story but if that is true, he probably should have kept his thoughts to himself.
