So who bought MCC?

Whatever company buys the OTC Division will make out like a bandit - Singulair, Nasonex, etc products going over the counter. This deal will make the Merck BOD look silly for selling it off.

Think back to the Pfizer decision to divest its "old" OTC
Division to J&J. That deal still haunts the Pfizer organization.

Go Merck. Shortsighted and lack of vision.

You are so out of your depth your posts are comical. There can be NO OTC of current scripts or recent off patents without paying licensing to Merck who owns the formulas, trademarks and branding. All of which have already been licensed to companies for 'branded generic' manufacturing.

The OTC ship has sailed to the generics and even when those agreements expire Merck will still get paid licensing for any OTC products.

Please stop posting your craziness it just shows how clueless most who work at MCC really are.

Yeah!!! So happy that we all can get along. You bunch of dumb dumbs.
Can't you see that ALL of you are being played as fools?

Kenny and his $1.2 monthly salary (excluding bonus) thanks you!

Enough. Its Reckitt Benkiser. They already distribute several of MCC brands outside the US. Its the best fit because it has the most possible synergies - that is very few people will be needed from Merck, except the manufacturing plant in TN. Everything else will be done by existing Reckitt staffers at their HQ in Parsippany. Maybe will add a few head counts in NJ, maybe a few MCC come over. Sales, marketing, R&D, distribution, IT, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, HR, its all over.
