I know this: people did get let go last week. One of which had my previous job.
I want to say this to the management of WC (admittedly being as vague as possible about what job/where I am talking about). I was let go some time ago. Where I worked had never been successful. For years before me there was turnover, physician complaints, legal issues, HR issues, horrible rankings, etc. The situation was improved greatly when I was in my position. Rankings good, sometimes great. Everything else was well-run and smooth. Issues were handled locally as to never involve H.O. Due to just a couple of idiots' perceptions, (never properly addressed with me--NOT rankings based), I was let go. Since my departure the terrible rankings, HR issues, turnover, all back in full force. I truly hope you are suffering in the mess you made. Screw you all , I'm joyfully watching this ship sink. You wouldnt know how to run a successful sales organization if a good one was given to you....O yeah, it was, and you fucked it up.
I understand striving for excellence, but you have to understand that excellence is different for different parts of the country and different Mgd Care situations. Take good, hard-working, solid employees when you get them. Hiring new 'superstars' is not as easy as you dumbasses think. I hope you choke on your failures and understand how easy it would've been to create a sales organization to be proud of rather than one that embarrasses the entire industry. Change for changes sake hurts the company, costs money, ruins the all-important relationships with your customers and opens the door for more poor decisions by under-experienced managers and reps, i.e. PA pushing, Dr. bribing, Med Ed fraud, expense acct theft, and more forced turnover.
Please advise the person at the top what year it is and that blatant nepotism and allowing top mgmt to sleep their way to the top while legally blackmailing the company is no way to run a quality organization.
