Come on people......You mean to tell me they are going to tell you today which teams will be reduced to one..........BUT NOT INFORM THE ONE PERSON WHO IS BEING LET GO UNTIL APRIL 2nd??


And that fits in the EEOC or proper work environment laws? It is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. I do not work for Novartis but I have been keeping up on this, and now I am just saying how is legal and HR feeling about this condition. Talk about a slip on the ice or a stress breakdown causing someone a heart attack .....and then blaming it all on this "tease" approach of keeping your job or not.....

Chime in as I know I am not the only one seeing this....
 












The is incorrect, there is no precedent of telling a team of two, that one will remain, and one will go, but keep working as a team until April, which is over two months away.

yes people know they will be eliminated and then keep working, yes some are told they will be eliminated on a certain day

But no where has a team been told to stay status quo, but one of you will eliminated.

That is where it is not balanced

Because you are not correct. All we know at this point is that we will cut 1,900 or whatever of the salesforce on April first. About half of the territories will have one rep and about half will have two. The territory maps are about complete, but no one knows yet who is where. The territories are being totally realigned so there is no way to even guess who goes and who stays. In many cases 10 people may be up for one position. It's crummy, but it is all business, nothing personal. We are all stressed and unsettled, but file a lawsuit!!!!-come on. It's kind of like your sister. I can talk bad about her but you can't. Mind your own company.

It's called being transparent which is what the majority of employees said they wanted more of in the last survey. This gives every employee almost a year of pay with notice. From my view, extremely fair. Novartis does layoff well.

Huh? We don't currently have territories with 2 reps. I don't understand what you mean. I think the guy is just trying to stir things up even more.
