I don't know whats up, but I was back up to a Mako case today and we did a total on a nice young woman who will be happy now that she has a well functioning TOTAL knee replacement and not a half assed gimmick of a uni.

Uni with a robot or no robot will still not deter opposite compartment arthritis.
With total knees doing so well, there are few indicatiosn for unis, unless its the old saying 'if you have a HAMMER....'

gee - i wonder why there are more da Vinci AEs in the MAUDE database

da Vinci installed base in the US = 1,707
RIO installed base in the US = 123

da Vinci procedures in 2011 = 360,000
total RIO procedures since June 2006 = 17,700
