So much for PTSD approval

This is good news really. Generics, as usual, dominate PTSD. I sold Seroquel and it was widely used for PTSD for pennies a day.
The PTSD push is just to get Rex in the news. Drs hear about it, and will get frustrated with trying every other generic option… And say what the hell, let’s give Rex a try.

What is actually mind-boggling to me, is that Lundbeck and Otsuka don’t have a mole with the FDA that would give him a heads up that this was kind of news was coming. All the big bigger companies have moles in the FDA. You have a Japanese company and a Swedish company trying to make a presence in the American market… Good luck.

WHO IS THE SWEDISH COMPANY YOU ARE REFERRING TO? Oh wait, we are a DANISH COMPANY! PTSD will do little for Rexulti. My neighbor’s grandson takes Seroquel for PTSD and is doing great. He is still active duty with no restrictions.

Denmark is not “Swedish”.

Tom G said it was 50/50 on approval anyway so this is no surprise. Otsuka is not good at getting things thru the FDA-They have failed miserably multiple times. Probably time to start looking for a new job!

Even if approved, Seroquel has a 25 year track record on using it for PTSD. It works at lower doses too. I’ll be glad when the last patent expires on this dog!
