Why did Novartis change their minds regarding all CV specialists getting a "2" rating for 2015?
Seems a bit unfair to put 50% weighting on 6 weeks of data, July and August.Why did Novartis change their minds regarding all CV specialists getting a "2" rating for 2015?
And 3 months of patch data, August, September, October 2014. Basically 5 months data.Seems a bit unfair to put 50% weighting on 6 weeks of data, July and August.

Agree with you, very shady. So Reps were promoting patch, most in a different territory, for 3 months 1st Q, 50% weight.. Then launched entresto for 6 weeks, 4th Q, in new territory, 50% weight. Novartis decides to rank your for the year based on less than 6 months data. It was communicated due to this off year, everyone would receive a 2. Well, they just dished out a bunch of 1's.Not sure how long you've been with novartis but this is the way they do things. They change incentives, initiatives, payouts, etc. all the time. Basically they LIE and don't believe leadership or you'll be set up for a future of disappointment at novartis.

This is sad. Changing the rules after the results come in. Was anyone targeted? Novartis will end up losing some of their best and most respected reps. It's a way to get rid of reps making to much money.....I would bet the tenured folk with pensions.It's a way to get rid of reps making too much money! They can go hire a contract sales force and get the same numbers with entresto bc it has nothing to do with the sales force and everything to do with managed care coverage. Pfizer did this a few years ago. Novartis has zero loyalty to their people. You are a number to them. They are full of BS and false promises. Do not believe one single thing leadership says.
