Where's all that free oil bush promised us if we invaded Iraq?

The statement to which you refer actually had nothing to do with Bush himself. Neither Bush 41 nor Bush 43 ever promised to confiscate Iraqi oil to pay for the war.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble there but we have friends who were around the Bush Texas oil circle at the time and although he didn't make a promise, his inner Texas oil circle used to crack jokes like this all the time.
Still, 26 month high on oil prices. I don't care what Bush or Obama says, I only care about my money regarding this and gasoline is at a 2+ year high.

He wanted to steal Iraqi oil, but in typical conservaturd ineptitude, he had to change his lies, and ultimately wasn't able to steal the oil, and worse, couldn't get the US reimbursed for the trillions of dollars wasted in the war, and the thousands of live he lost

There's a good chance that the high price of gas may be one of the key factors that costs Obama re-election.
And what the price was under Bush has no bearing on the fact that the price of gas is rising and that therefore price inflation is occurring!
The price of oil isn't the only thing increasing as our public debt continues to spiral out of control. Our growing deficit will inevitably lead to inflation and diminished purchasing power for everyone - Republican and Democrat alike. From this fiscal disaster recovery will be very slow.
