I see all the negative Nancy's are on here. This has been going great. Docs don't give a crap why, they are just happy their patient now has a generic in this class that will be a formulary generic. This is a win/win for total healthcare dollar spending.I have tried to spin this several different ways. My providers can see right through this scam as they went through the same thing with colcrys. Ethically I will not force it down their throats as I wouldlose all credibility. If I had just one legitimate talking point about how this benefits the patients or providers. Anybody been successful with a strategy?

You are obviously not in the field. You say they are happy that a patient has a generic in this class. How many plans put an authorized generic on plan versus a true generic that is much less expensive. A win win for pharma but not the patient. Patients were getting Nesina for $4. what are they paying now. you my friend a re a fucking tool drunk on the company kool aid

Please tell me what the "true generic" DPP-4i is? If a doc could write for a generic DPP-4i, get it for Medicare patients at generic co-pay, get credit for generic fill rate targets, and not have to deal with co-pay coupons and gimmicks - what's not to like? Just give the MC coverage time to appear.
True but it will still be less expensive then the Branded Items EVEN JANUVIA (with it's kick backs; yes I'm addressing YOU the competitor).. run scared.
There are no rebate coupons for an AG product. Januvia can be had for under $10 with rebate program. Neverseena rx AG will not be at a tier 1 generic copay sparky, have you thought through that. I think we will still kick your butt. I sell Onglyza, not Januvia and Nesina is in single digits weekly.
