Snow in 49 States Including Hawaii







Tell me about it. Alabama has been slammed the last month+.

Airline travel has been a bitch. Atlanta has been messed up. There's an old saying that when you die you go to heaven or hell but you must go thru Atlanta first. The bodies must be piled up.
 


















Very interesting, yet another sign of our changing climate due to human activity. I used to wonder how bad it would get 50 years from now, but now if we stay on our current trajectory it will be much more dramatic in just 10 years:

The added moisture in the atmosphere also explains the phenomenon we've seen this week at home -- where snow blanketed the ground in 49 of 50 states. During yesterday's snowstorm, Hartford, Conn. and Albany, N.Y. both set records for snowfall in a single day.

"This is no longer something that's theory or conjecture or something that comes out of computer models," Sommerville said. "We're observing the climate changing -- it's happening, it's real, it's a fact."
