SN Giving Away Visionaire Blocks?

Talked to a SN rep who just took a job with Depuy-S. He told me you guys are charging as low as 100.00 for Visionaire blocks to try and drive sales with new J2 knee? Didn't Su and Maymen basically say SN Visionaire was bullshit?

Jesus, guys. That is embarrassing. I hope Stryker buys you and puts you out of your misery.

BS! They are NOT designed in India, the Visionaire engineers are right here in Memphis and Su and Maymen never said anything like that. You guys are desperate.

Hahaha who would be desperate, when competing with Smith & Nephew? And Su is doing work for OrthoAlign right now, talking about how "the PSI blocks don't always fit".

Here's your link.

God, do you even know what your top docs are saying about your products?

What a joke. I have converted Zimmer and Stryker surgeons with Oxinium and Visionaire. The blocks fit great. I have done over 1000 cases with them. There is a learning curve for the surgeon to get the block in the correct orientation. Most hospitals are at a cap price and all implants and instruments are at a lower price.

Some fit great, some need "messaging" and some are abortions that when pinned, might still work. Nothing's perfect, especially if its from S&N. I've learned to lower my expectations with this company and it has helped.

In 200 cases I've seen, only bailed to instruments once and had a few 15, 18 inserts and one constrained...a couple poorly aligned but not horrific. A good surgeon and rep will know...

I would say prudence pays. Never trust them implicitly, angel wing them and drop your rods.

Yeah. Give us your name superstar

Medacta? They have a total knee?

In my area, the most commonly revised TKA is Depuy Sigma, because a ton of them were out in, as JJ had, and continues to enjoy a very strong presence. The second is definitely SN Journey, and I have no idea where these patients are coming from, because no one puts that nightmare of a knee in.

I do have a couple of docs that have told me that SN is offering free Visionaire blocks to guys if they put the J2 in, but no one wants to touch that knee until they prove they've fixed the dislocation/disassociation issues from the original Journey.
