SMG is a big waste of a company. They no longer use Quintiles as their contract company and have begun hiring on their own, . they offer a very Low base, low commission, no managed care coverage and generic intrusions on every corner, and a simplistic lose lose approach to compete in an advanced pharma world.
It is worst than that - The product was promoted by Valeant before they got in trouble - a great product but no support from the owners of the company. Initially veteran industry management was brought in to right the ship. As they made recommendations to validate the product for safety and efficacy they were displaced. It is a good product but unfortunately the people that control the company have killed the product. I have a friend that works there and they sat the board is run by a bunch of back-woods small town people that do not understand the industry. They say the chairman of the board is crazy. The management team has been displaced since pushing for better controls over verification of the safety of the drug. Surprised the FDA has not shut this company down over public safety concerns. I would stay away from them at any cost.
