Since when is it non compliant to run errands or have lunch with friends?

After reading a few of these posts, it just makes no sense. Aren't sales reps allowed to meet friends for lunch or attend school functions? Not sure we need to be taking vacation to attend a one hour school recital. Is it so bad to have an outside life and regurlarly lunch with your spouse or friends (not on the company, BTW.)
Start standing up for yourselves! This company doesn't own you just because you have the privege for working here!

I think there are some managers out there that like to harrass their reps. Pesonally I see nothing wrong with it. Reps work more than 40 hours a week. It does not have to be done 8-5. What about the 2 hours spent doing expense reports at night? The next day you should be able to run a few errands without feeling guilty. Has anyone out there ever been followed?

Sounds like you have a rough life.
