I signed up for ue benefits today. As soon as you are done with your calls for the month, sign up, it takes 3 weeks to get your first ue benefit check. Just google employment office in your specific state and you can sign up online. Takes about an hour. Good Luck

thats stupid you can sign up until your official last day with pdi if you lie you will be denied idiot
 






You Can sign up for UE as soon as you are finished. UE is based on last day worked not when the contract is over. Yes surge can get UE. Why do ppl want to misinform ppl. And yes it does take 3 weeks to get your first check.
 






better sign up fast - new decisions in DC aim to DECREASE the length of time one can collect - get on the gravy train NOW -its still 99 weeks, will decrease to 79 upon passage of the bill - thats 5 months less of benefits!
 






Hmmmm - I just heard that its being restricted to only 73 weeks - and its only that "generous" in states with the highest unemployment %'s - so yes - jump on board now - before 73 weeks maximum becomes "the law of the land"!!
