Does anyone else get sick of your manager's requests to help mentor others, become your "team leaders" on various products your representing or to help others with Veeva problems??? Why are you constantly asking me to do YOUR JOB that you are getting compensated 80K+, bennies, gas and a car - all while I would be doing it FOR FREE!!!! Please STOP asking us to do your job without any compensation!! It is just wrong!! If places were switched - would you be ready to step up??? I think not! I have volunteered over the years for all these types of projects and never even got a thank you, let alone any kind of compensation for countless hours of my personal time, and cell phone usage that I get a measly $10 a month for! There is no opportunity for advancement - so why even bother! This company is a joke! And yes as soon as something better comes along I am gone!! Sadly you will be losing an employee who truly gave alot to this company, but finally got sick of being taken advantage of! Senior managment - you make me sick at how you drive good employees away! I hope someone finally does get a class action suit against you!

OMG, it's scary to to think that these exact words could have come out of my mouth. I totally feel the same way and kudos to you for putting it in to words!!!

Maybe it's because your manager thinks that you are worthwhile, a good teacher and a potential manager. Ever think of that or are you too dense to think that far ahead of your nose. You are pathetic as most reps with Shared are. Most of you are totally useless.

ah, once again, the home office apologist has chimed in!!
Trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.
Putting a shine on a turd.

NOPE! This place sucks and most employees agree.
This home office flunky keeps trying to put a rosey picture out there for the "investment community" - Not going to work, honey.

Fairly compensate people for the work they do, and the picture will brighten. Otherwise, just shut up!

What are you, some kind of socialistic facist? This is the USA and we are capitalistic. We expect to be compensated for work. PAID....can you say PAID? You consistantly compare apples to oranges, which is proof enough to highlight your ignorance. Your argument only works if one is "salaried". Then and only then can the "expectation" from management move up a notch. We are NOT PAID to take on more. We are sales people, the nature of that alone indicates we are motivated by money. As the saying goes: Put up or shut up! And btw, if I were salaried here I wouldn't be putting the time to make the 150 calls I am consistantly "told" to make now!

Now come back with your empty, mindless drone of a response. Come on.....you know your going to. I can hear the little hamster wheel sqeaking from here, because you really are just a little "rodent" lackey.

I, on the other hand, am going out to make calls, therefore you continue to have a job. Without a sales force the is no need for the rest of the company.

Exactly what position do you hold in the company??? A manager who hates to be called out on what is clearly the truth?? Don't want to earn your 80K+ bennies and all by having to field these calls yourself??? Would you consistently work for free for NOTHING in return as I stated in my original post??

I agree with your point. Personally, I always look for opportunities to demonstrate capabilities beyond my current assignment. I personally enjoy helping others with the simple "Veeva" questions that the "Help Center" would have wasted 30 minutes of time getting solved.

Lastly, there is always room for improvement in any job/management. Life can be difficult, get over it!

Understand and can feel your pain! My husband is always asking me to jump thru hoops after I get home from running around for PDI. Heaven forbid if I ever tell him I have a headache! I'll never hear the end of it! Plus it's either too wet or too dry. What are you talking about . . . . . . . Spike's dog food? I've had it with men and have had it with PDI. Wouldn't mind meeting up with Anne Heche and getting it on.

HA!! We all do what we've got to do!! I am PDI's poster child, but it pays better that unemployment and because of that, I will check the box. Put out or get out!

We have all came from a position where we were valued, and therefore we have landed a "standby" position until the real one comes along, or we find a new industry where we can once again be valued! Hang in there, don't be disgruntled and don't burn bridges...Karma is a bitch.

Quit and let the door be open to those who want it...or spend your time looking for a new job! Seriously, its summer...who wants to work

Actually this is the first post that makes sense, and is great good good advice. Especially the part about don't be disgruntled and burn bridges.
