Heres a story making the rounds. It a bit crazy but from my sources its true. Ok, so... this rep has a ride along with their manager and during lunch the rep orders shrimp. The manager tells the rep to confine themselves to the "lunch" menu and shrimps not on the menu for lunch. Anyway, a 3rd party was there (Teva employee, not doctor) and was allowed to order off the dinner menu.

Now I ask you, is this petty or some form of haressment? What kind of nonsence is this? How petty is management? Its pretty stupid.

I have to say, I have been told this story more than once and even though its stupid, I know the DM involved and I can believe it comming from them.

Is this were TEVA is headed, no bennies for ride along lunch?? Damn, there should be a benny for having to ride with a stupid manager who has no sales clue and only spouts company BS. At least shrimp if not surf and turf.
 






I love it when DMs treat reps like they are 12 years old. Shrimp isn't even expensive. Another DM on a power trip... he sounds like a real asshole. No wonder he's in management LOL.

As I understand it, there is a racial/gender componet involved. The DM and Rep are of different races/genders.
The person who said the DM was on a Power Trip might just be right. But even though DMs think they are god... they are NOT! Just another idiot believing they are above the law.

WTF you stupid jerkoffs! Do you even think??? OMG!

PS. The ABD, reportedly, had knowledge of this haressment and did nothing.

First of all this is the most poorly explained story hard to follow and makes no sense.

So what happened because they were a female rep they could not order shrimp.

I guess people don't know how to tell stories anymore.

My guess is people dont know how to read stories anymore. The story itself is three sentences. The main points are:
1. DM tells the rep to order from the lunch menu.
2. The rep trys to order shrimp, which is not on the lunch menu and are told NO.
3. A thrid TEVA employee who is there is allowed to order off the dinner menu.

Its a pretty easy story to understand but I hope I have helped the reading challenged understand it... even though its pretty clear to anyone with an IQ over 80.

Also, I wish to ask a question... What part of the story says the DM is a white male?
The fact that some believe only a white male could be a racist in the little story is racist in its self. Maybe the rep was a white male.
Now tell me white males cant be discrimanated against.
 






I still don't understand how shrimp are racist. All I know is it is very tacky for someone to control someone's lunch order like that. Therefore the DM is a low class tacky mofo.

It is possible shrimp are racist, I have no personal experience with them other then to eat them. But I believe the racism comes from the controling issue of the DM. What is the reason to humiliate this rep in front of another TEVA employee?

I myself have had shrimp for lunch and it was never questioned. I cant understand a DM who would humiliate a rep like this and WHY they would do this infront of another TEVA employee. My question is WHY?? And what else has this DM done to humiliate this rep and again...WHY? If thats their behavor in public chances are something worse is happening in private. WHY?

Well I dont know enough about this to say there is a racism component to it but there is a hell of an a-hole factor involved. A manager who would do something so small mind and ugly must be up for an award, DM Of The Year for TEVA, or something... Hall Of Fame DM at corporate. lol
How this type of egotistical and abusive behavior can be accept by the ABD is even more crazy. What wrong with this company? Damn! I gotta blow this pop stand.

I m have had a shrimp dinner for lunch with my DM and that was actually nice. Saddly, it appears this rep has a manager who is very creative in the art of haressement and thusly, is an embaressement to all decent DMs everywhere. This DM is a pittiful jerk and should be fired or promoted to VP of Sales and Marketing.
