But yes it is a contract. Your job may end as soon as it starts. Always keep that in mind. It has happened to me twice. So when you factor in all the months you dont have a job while you are looking for a new one, the annual salary is actually closer to 20-30 per year. These positions suck and are for losers that cant see the forest from the trees. I moved on a year ago and am making huge dollars in molecular bio. I had a major "IN" and was just lucky. Period. I think those days are gone. CSO is a dead end. I would never ever take it looking back. It has been my biggest obstacle, personally and professionally. It is the lowest job out there I must agree with all the posts.

yes, 40 minutes, walk through my resume then asked 5-6 questions about how I run my business. - told timeline for next steps and also training/launch.

good conversation...

concerned about benefits, salary, car, etc.... don't don't how this all works as a contract- coming from big pharma - wondering if benefits not as good.... any comments??

I have a phone interview this week. Was told they are moving fast and there would only be one phone interview followed by an offer. No face to face in this area and would meet your manager at launch meeting. Hire date is August 8. Base around 60-65. There is company car.

go to monster and no pharma experience please! for shiniogi

I am interviewing in the Midwest and was told by the recruiter $55k. Seems low compared to OP and other posts - should I ask for more? BTW, more than 15 years' experience on other Ventiv contracts. Are they paying Ventiv people on the cheap?! Territory is HUGE!!!! Would be driving 2 hrs to parts of it...

Anyone who doesn't see the problem with this post is an idiot. The post is true-- I did a phone screen, and declined to move forward when I found out this was the case. Your happiness and sanity in this job is based 95% on the person you work for; salary is decent but DM turns out to be an ass= misery from the start. Don't be fooled if you have experience!!

Let the 1-2 year reps get these!! Also, they tried to suck me in with a 5k signing bonus; DON'T fall for it!! Your F2F interview with a DM is as much about you figuring out Him/Her as it is for them figuring out you!!!

What is the true salary? This is higher that I was told? What is the start date? How long was training?
