Shameful

TV, you should be ashamed of what's developed here.
Bonuses for managers and not reps? That just gives all the hard working reps in this company a bad feeling in their stomach. The reactive nature here is sickening. If you would have put a little more time into the reps they wouldn't be leaving at such an alarming rate.
Although the upside for you is at your next job you can tell them how not to do things...from true experience.

No kidding. At least dangle a carrot for us to have some hope. Resigning is contagious. Once a few people do it, it strikes a curiosity and makes me wonder why I am not looking elsewhere.
And to think most of this could have been avoided if our leadership would just address it, do something for those good reps they want to stay, and move on.
I guarantee this will be another week with massive resignations and no acknowledgement from leadership.
When things are broken and you act like nothing is going wrong it makes our leadership look plain crazy.

is management ignoring? there is no leadership, so not surprising. pretend it is not happening. no courage, vision, or skill. no surprise.
is everyone referencing Pharma reps leaving? Just started with B+L Surgical and almost 1/2 the reps are new. I think I made a bad decision, the marketing department was the biggest joke they promoted a customer service guy and a guy that used to be an office tech. Which would explain why none of their presentations were on marketing but copying ALCON activity from 5 years ago.

Your right shameful in every respect. If they in fact got $80k retention bonus and field sales force got $0k, all hell is going to break out nsm. This could get very ugly pitting reps against their managers and so on. Why did managers tell there teams this?
