AG is in way over his head.
He was a big fish in India but he’s a minnow in the US.
The market has handed him his ass in a big way, and he’s cost the company hundreds of millions of dollars, not to mention the damage to the Sun brand equity (not that there really was any, but whatever it was, he’s taken it to about zero, if not a negative now).
He is arrogant, ignorant, a frickin’ bully -but I’m sure he’d back down if anyone ever stood up to him. So do it Princeton, you have no balls. Those guys are all in their late 50s, hanging on for any income, even if it means selling their souls. I have no respect for any of them now.

2) And did he honestly shed a tear while telling that story? If you’re really THAT passionate about clearance stories KF, start HEARING what the people are needing to sell more Ilumya....then you can cry more, not only by clearance stories, but also a growth in market share
3) In defense of all USA Princeton based “leaders”, I don’t believe it’s all there fault. Their not that stupid. (I hope). I bet AG is a naysayer and holding everything back. A previous poster said something about having balls. I couldn’t agree more.

Eff the story about Japan, that was ridiculous. Embarrassing.

Regarding #3 above:
1. Yes, at the end of the day AG and his lil side-kick call all the shots. Every rupee is reviewed by them. That being the case, factual, this disaster puts the blood of a
failure all over their hands.
2. If ‘the leaders’ are still there, then shame on them and I’d say they’re not too smart for staying and dealing with the BS. Can they really not find another job ? Guess not.
3. Regarding having no balls, that could not be more true. Across all BUs.

Shame on all of them. Good product.
Deeply flawed strategy, complete lack of leadership and inability to execute from the home office.

I’m going to be close on this but not 100%.
Halol had an inspection in 2016, maybe early 2017, multiple violations issued and SHUT DOWN by FDA. For like over a year. FDA comes back to reinspect and they find even more violations. Still shut down. Halol finally gets cleared in ~2018 and is again in hot water with FDA.

Keep in mind, this is Sun’s largest, newest and most sophisticated manufacturing site in the world.

You have to look to the global leadership team and hold all of them accountable. This includes our US CEO.

What do you think this says about the integrity of the company?

Ps- this issue is on top of many product recalls for quality issues the past 1-2 years.

Merck still manufactures Ilumya for another year. In Ireland I think? Then SUN takes over. Not sure where. Going to be interesting. ONE...I mean ONE “issue” of the integrity manufacturing of Ilumya or ONE FDA slap of wherever IL is manufactured....will be enough to never have anyone write it again. What are the 4 Core Values of SUN?
Humility, Integrity, Passion, Innovation?

That is the point for the brand divisions---manufactured in the USA or manufactured in the USA by another company equals no need for Halol apologies. Unfortunately, most doctors expect poor quality from India and the Halol caper does not help remove those expectations. Nor does it erase the ridicule spread by competitors. Keep on truckin' along.

Looks like you went to the same school of ethics as AG did. Loser.

When your alleged world-class manufacturing facility has been shut down by FDA for 2 of the last 4 years, that’s a deep, frickin’ issue. It’s a reflection of the lack of commitment to quality and to PATIENTS HEALTH AND SAFETY. This damn the torpedoes, ‘we are Sun’ (we are untouchable) perverse mindset runs through the entire company.
It manifests itself in every thing that Sun does: be it mfg, submissions, patent infringements, INSIDER TRADING WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS, abusive actions towards employees. It’s everywhere, and it looks like you’re just fine with it.

I hope your kid is never prescribed ...

I'm on your side, clown. Most of us sell brands and all of the SUN brand products are made in the USA and not at Halol. Unless you have a big territory that covers Southeast Asia or Siberia, cut out the drama. The Halol issues are not a USA factor, other than image. Your job is to protect the SUN image. If that is too much to handle, then keep crying. You take the money, do your job.
