Seriously? Lilly (and all Big Parma companies) spends millions and millions of dollars every year to influence public policy.
 




This is a win for Lilly. Tell young women we’ll pay for your abortion out of state and Lilly doesn’t need to pay for maternity care, maternity leave or put a child on their health insurance. It’s all about the money. Shameful.

Of course, the next logical step for upper mgmt at Lilly is a career in govt, to get more tax breaks, for more stock buybacks and price dysregulation. Win win for shareholders and Wall Street both.
 




















I thought the company says r hey are business to save lives? I guess babies aren’t lives? People make a choice to have unprotected relations that can cause pregnancy. How about take responsibility for your actions. I oh I forgot there is no responsibility for anyones actions now.

As a former Lilly employee who enjoys reading this board and has a lucrative consulting career for "Big Government", let me remind everyone that it already has figured out your body and your relationships. Well, at least it has access to the data. We should consider ourselves lucky that government in-fighting and bureaucracy are such that it has difficulty leveraging the information. For Now!
 









Uhh...no Supreme Court scholar here, but by returning the decision to the states, that's what they did. Hopefully, it's just the beginning so that you can then pick the state that best fits your moral and political inclinations.
 








I love how now all of a sudden it's hands off my body and my decision....and yet did YOU care when they forced the COVID vaccine on people? guessing you didn't...you probably still wear your mask outside~

Also, NOT ALL women are pro-choice...or wait, are you a male who identifies as a woman and is advocating to kill an unborn child...aren't WE a science company?

It's debatable they are representing their voters, but unfortunately we will never know because Indiana doesn't allow ballot initiatives like the ones in Kansas and Michigan. Someday the GOP will regret this, as they stare in disbelief at a blue Hamilton County on election night. It definitely won't happen this cycle, but if you look at the results over the past several years, it is getting closer and closer every election.
 




If you’re a sexually active woman (who will be so inconvenienced by company provided travel a few hours to Illinois to get your frequent abortions) then don’t move to Indiana.

Pro choice, pro life, does anyone REALLY think this is an argument? it was just so the company could argue they’re not taking a moral stance, while also appeasing those that think Lilly should make a statement on every law on the books.
