6 weeks plus one week per year of service plus 1/2 week for each year of age above 40…. All that in addition to the 8 week WARN period and continued health insurances so actually not bad…..I’ll pocket over $125,000…. Before a big tax bill that is ….

You probably don’t want to interview then for one of the open Abbvie positions that layed off employees are allowed to apply to because if you were to get that job you wouldn’t get any of that severance.
I would pocket the severance and get a new job with a different company.

This is far from good i was laid off in 2016 from another company and it was a minimum of 3 months, plus 2 weeks per year of service.
