Correct, Ista got 4 months (plus years of service), we got 2 months (plus years of service). Stinks B&L didn't do the right thing for their own employees. They should have made it equitable.

At B&L it's ALWAYS profits over people. Haven't you seen this from all of the reps that were put on plan to get them out? Your severance (on the B+L side) from this ISTA/B+L merger is the same as if you were put on a plan and let go. The crappy thing is that severance is paid bi-weekly like a paycheck. There is no lump sum payout. Benefits will run out in 2 months and you'll have to look at COBRA. Good luck!
 












The ISTA folks not only negotiated a much better deal in being paid far more than what they were worth (note: Valeant); but while they had us over the table the took care to see that anyone on their side gotten handled with care and not abused and forgotten like our lackluster leadership. Expect more of the same in what is to come.
