Serious Question

Now we all know of the delay, there are some serious questions. Lets just say approval happens late december(hopeful). What happens to J codes and CPT? Are we going to have to wait until 2014 to have a specific code? If yes, then this is going to be a hell of a bad b and b ride.

No one will touch it until there is an approved code.

Thoughts??????

Usually you get a temporary code which happens no matter when approval is. Just makes it harder and uncertainty is reimbursement.

If you knew anything about reimbursement you would know that it takes a year anyway to get a permanent J code.

I do know. Sold lupron. Thats my question. We could have had one in early 2013. Now this could push it back until mid 2014. I think there are cycles and if you miss the beginning of a calendar year, you could be screwed.

Last poster is right. There is timing to the process. I'm more concerned about extending patents. Why would they keep using ours?
