Senior Marketing Executive Position

It depends where you are. Salary is about 70-90K depending on experience. Bonus 10K-60K. Top 10% makes a little more bonus.

The person is smoking crack about the base pay. It all depends on where you live as certain areas pay more than others becaue of the cost of living. The base for new SME's is often more like 50K not 70-90K. I got less than 50K not that long ago but some people can get closer to 60 or maybe even 65K. The bonus is paid out monthly IF you earn it. There will be months where you make a lot of money and many where you make nothing. The problem is that a lot of what you make is not due to your activities but the territory in general and the KAE's. The KAE's can lose a lot more than you can bring in so you will make nothing. Your bonus is based on growth and maintance of business so if you are in an area that is seeing a lot of growth then its going to be much easier to grow. If you are in an area where the hospitals are buying up all the independant offices then you are screwed. If LabCorp already has a high market share in your area or the offices are tied up somehow and can't switch then again you are screwed. You have certain sales number for growth you have to meet otherwise you are going to catch hell and put on PIP.

I just started my own company and you will be able to make way more money than any LCA rep in the country unless someone wants to claim that on average they are making 20K+ per month. In fact 20K is not that unusual at all but most people on here will say I am a liar even though they don't know what I am talking about. :)

The most I have seen in my industry is a rep averaging 50K per month and I know no one can touch that at LCA or Quest or Solstas. Stay tuned and I will give more details later when my company is fully up and running. One thing to consider is that at least LCa is mathcing the 401K plan and Solstas is not going to do that anymore. Something is up about that. I wouldn't be surprised if the sell out to either LCA or Quest soon.
Good luck no matter what you do and happy holidays to all.

That is sad that your base pay was 50K. Guess I'm lucky or just a better negotiator. In our division, I would say that the SME makes 30k-50k in commission. Not sure about Missouri but good luck. You may want to join the previous poster claiming 20K monthly checks. Sounds good to me. A lot does depend on your KAE's ability to maintain business. Good luck but I'd stay in the medical device industry if I were you.

Base for a SME is 55K - 65K. Rarely will they go above 65K, and usually when wooing a competitive rep.

I have to agree with the other poster about a base of around 50K. It all depends on the region you are in, there can be wide differences in the base pay and its not based on how great you are at negoiating. I know my base pay before coming to LCA was well above what I was offered but they wouldn't budge and claimed I should be making 150K with the bonus. Of course I have not approached 150K but I do of course surpass 100K. LCA knows they can get away of paying someone in parts of the south way less than the northeast because of the cost of living. The rent for a small condo in NYC would be a house payment on a large mansion down south so you have to consider all the variables.

Top SME can make upwards of $350K+, great company, great job!

LOL Please stop with that nonsense.
I bet you have some ocean front propert to sell in Iowa real cheap, right? I'm not saying that occasionally a rep will get lucky and hit one out of the park when they sign a giant client but that is the rare exception not the rule so it's best to throw out the very very top and bottom numbers and see what the masses are doing because the way LCA has the decked stacked a LOT of things are out of your control that impact your bonus.
