Quest you need us and the sales force needs you. Upper mgmt dropped the ball and lost some of the biggest clients in this company’s history this past year by refusing to offer competitive offerings.

To make matters worse in August they hired the ultimate wrecking crew the PeteBob machine. Our foundations is already cracked and now we are the leaning Tower of Pisa II.

Here’s a brief overview of this stellar crew. The Sr. VP of Sales PS is incognito only to be heard from infrequently by email touting his Pharma car contest with a weekly YouTube clip of one of the pieces of shit he is offering up. Yes we do hear his shrill nasally voice once a month for 2 minutes pitching some joke of a pep talk like the golden one this week that Genoptix is the same company this week as we were last week. What a dumb MF’r. Last week we didn’t announce we were for sale and have the competition running into our customer offices. Go back to sleep and send us another car update next week -- congrats you’re doing great. By the way how the fuck am I expected to manage my territory without sales reports for the past 2 months you useless fuck?

He did tell us about his black corvette at the August sales meeting and railed on about what a great car it was. Are you fucking 14 years old? Do you have a matching matchbox car to go along with that junk?

Surya I expect you drive something more of an adult car befitting someone out of their adolescent years.

On to his sidekick BB. This guy appeared not to have seen daylight for about 10 years. This pale hanger-on follows PS from company to company assisting in the downward spiral. Like PS he is equally droll and useless. The fact that he got promoted to National Sales Director with zero accomplishments after 3 months on the job should tell you Surya what this crew is about.

The most sorry individual is our Senior Hospital Sales Director DC who happens to have zero hospital laboratory experience – no I am not kidding and as I understand it the sales reps working hospitals find it equally amusing, disgusting, and a sign of how incompetent upper mgmt. has become.

The PeteBob co-horts are like a virus and kill all motivation, enthusiasm, and joy that any of us had for this job. Like a virus the closer you get the more likely you are to be infected. Guess that’s why we have lost so many reps in the West region including a sales manager this week.

Quest we will give you our best but please take over Genoptix soon and flush these Upper Mgmt waste products into the sewer where they belong. You will improve sales morale 100% by getting rid of Upper Mgmt; earn the respect of the sales team; and we can move forward and take back the business lost to the likes of US Labs, Genpath, and the rest.

Do you think Quest will really purchase Genoptix? Genoptix has always had good offerings, hard to beat in fact, convenient for oncologists & lab staff. One problem- not compliant. Had Genoptix had any managed care contracts your company would not be on the chopping block. Insurance companies & patients got tired of paying the high prices, the staff and the physicians offices were upset about the number of calls they were receiving from patients regarding bills. I mean no disrespect and in this economy I certainly don't wish unemployment on anyone but you're all right, if upper management would have done the right thing from the beginning you guys wouldn't have to stress. I wish all of you the best! It will be interesting to see if Quest does make the move to purchase Genoptix & hopefully you guys will still be employed. Best wishes!
 
Do you guys really think quest is a good company???? Call one quest rep in the last year and ask them what they think? Its a train wreck.... (take 5 min and read quest boards). I promise that you NEVER want to go there. 85k is considered good money....

It would have been best to stay the course but let's face it the best days of Genoptix are way behind it. Tina and Sam have destroyed the company.

It's funny to think those geniuses fired Burt who had the highest sales the comapny will ever see under his tenure.

Read LabCorp's message board and be glad it's Quest. Be happy they are interested as the alternative is we slowly bleed out because of our fearless leaders' inability to compete. Everyday sales weaken as the competiton eat our lunch.
 
Burt could not get the company to the next level. He served his course. The current management has no clue how to get us there either. Why would they hire the Petebob show? Look at this guy's track record, failure, failure, failure.....
 
Quest and Labcorp may suck, but you had a tiny little 5 year run and now you rae the joke of the industry. Quest and Labcorp will be here long after you are forgotten. Enjoy your last holiday with a paycheck.
 
You are done! Neither Quest or Lab Corp will purchase. You may ask why......because you don't keep up with the rest of the industry.........Lab Corp with recent Genzyme purchase has no liquid capital and Quest with the rumors of their COO with no signed contract and poor stock performance.........doubtful. So have fun while you can and keep telling the doctors that the patients won't see a bill!! HAHAHAHA
 
Quest has already passed on purchasing Genoptix. They did look into it, but being that they already acquired Ameripath for hempath work, they decided Genoptix was a no-go

Hello Schmucko, if it's not Quest it will be some other lucky company that wants to take adavantage of the relationships that Genoptix has with over 1300 ordering docs. Couldn't be someone would want the company for their profitable business model, millions in cash, or highly skilled employee base?

Three hiring phases for new AmeriPath HemOnc reps planned over next 12 months. Tentative goal is for first 25 reps to be hired by start of Q3.

LF resigned and went to a new company...why would a top rep in the Detroit area leave if things were so good? Why are managers calling their reps and asking if they are looking/interviewing? Sounds like the ship is taking on water and the rats are getting nervous
