I hear you. I would like to stay with Novartis so I could someday retire. I will do anything as well. You said it well. Many times the things we do don't make any sense at all, but they pay us well to do what they ask us to do. Good luck. I think we are going to need it. It's going to be the luck of the draw.

Pride and respect are a luxury. I can get picky when the market improves.

It's called planning ahead & living within your means.
Great posts though, these are exactly what dr's need to see , the govt
& patients for that matter to uncover NVS / reps true motivations

Keep em coming , i want more of these types links posted on various blogs

We sell what they put in our bag, fda approves, and they train us on what to say. Where do wentry to poison, maim or kill anyone. We are not docs nor scientist but sales reps.

Are you even a rep? Live within your means assumes you are going to have a job or only unemployed for a bit. Todays economy and job market...give me a break. Reps relay the message and distibute the fda approved info.

What are you trying to uncover? Aren't u part of the system? What message have you been relaying? We didnt have any other info till now.

With this logic why don't you just go on the street and sell illegal drugs. I wouldn't ever just sell anything. It's fine to do what they ask of you administratively even if it is wasteful and makes no sense yet your first sentence tells your true colors. Your only out for yourself and would sell your mother friend or business associate down the river for your own sake. I see selfish insecurity when you say "I'll sell anything" and someone like you would hurt anyone to get what you want. You would be the type you could never trust, only watching out for your back.
 






Are you serious? Uncover our motivations? I suppose no one should get paid for their job then. Isnt that why everyone from Ceos to janitors go to work every day? No one says we want to sell rat poison to patients but we are talking about drugs that are Fda approved. By the way to get approval benefits have to outweigh side effects. So go ahead uncover our motivations. We want to make money like anyone else. There is nothing wrong with that and since you think there is clearly you are not in sales.

Your desperation and lack of self respect is sad - you have many more issues than keeping an increasingly worthless job that has done nothing to prepare you for a job outside pharma - you need to take a hard look and refocus your energies finding and preparing for a long term career and providing for your family.
