See you in July! (Maybe)

NOTHING justifies the way we are being treated! I actually hope my numbers suck. It will be my parting gift to the MFers. Should I survive, I start with a lower baseline.

I don't know 1 person who is working....everyone I speak with is enjoying their time off. BI screwed themselves up with this layoff. This will be a case study for sure! Managers are in their own world worrying about their own stuff, reps are interviewing out. It's really fun to see numbers tanking........how low can you go!

So people aren't even getting a signature for samples so they can prove they left the house?
Aren't you worried that they are watching our call activity? I am pretty sure my manager does. He is a total dick,

I some times maybe only get 1 signature a day. My offices are so stuffed with stiolto I physically can't sample any more. The drs are not using it and I can only drop off so many. Then I circle back to the office that will take any and all samples, well I can only over stuff them so many times. So what then?

Circle back huh? Do you also present our value prop? Maybe create a couple best practices as you create synergies with your collaborative partners? Gaining any alignment?

No surprise that reps are having 'low productivity' during this time..no the company is not surprised at all about the low call/sample averages being seen now. This topic was already seen in the PowerPoint presentation and covered by the consultants..the rip the bandaid off option for layoffs was nixed in favor of the slow bleed out which provided greater saving$ and some other corporate jiberish about transition morale...go thru the motions, look for a new job..don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine or just laid off.

Why is it that AZ can announce 1600 job cuts eff. July 1 and Novartis announce a major reorganization effective July 1, both in the last day, yet our "shirt bus" leadership must drag our "transformation" out for 6 mos.? Oh I forgot, they're too busy sipping margaritas in Cancun.

AZ job cuts were all of contract employees. They actually did the right thing (cut contract ties first before their own employees.) BI did this the wrong way. Years ago they promised Germany this would never happen again. We would first remove contracts. Never happened.

+1 well said

Would have happened but for that goof ball CB (pre-PF) who decided to roll all those CSO into BI and bloat us up more than the meat loaf plate at the AOB.

Glad I bailed out of this failing company 2 years ago. The writing was on the wall way back then that all hell was going to break lose. Surprised it took this long. Get out while you can, if you get retained, I would still bail out. You can not trust this company at all! They have been double-talking for years.

If you left 2 years ago why the hell are you trolling on the BI blog?!? Separation anxiety?
