See ya later Differin.3

Sure hope this doesn't lead to more layoffs. G has shown they'll sacrifice reps in this situation. Even more reason to jump ship while you can, considering there is no innovation and little buying power on the horizon. Good luck.

just a reminder that Clobex Spray if off patent this December as well. What is that about 250 -300 + of total revenue gone this year between Differin .3 and Clobex Spray? Also, say goodbye to the Differin .3 and BPO combo. Differin Forte' . Let me guess, 300,000,000 of revenue was probably needed to support a least one of the remaining sales teams. I would think more layoffs are inevitable this year.

I guess our management is wrong once again - trees do not grow to the sky and branded generics do not go on forever - like they can in price protected markets and or socialized medicine markets like they have over there in Europe.

Wake up!

Despite the 2018 remark, didn't we hang Clobex Spray to retain the Oracea patent? I expect Clobex to make like Vectical and get traded out for ivermectin in the last quarter of 14.

Sorry buddy, you are correct about the original patent. However, it lost a paragraph 4 patent challenge three years ago and the management at Galderma punted and signed a deal with a generic company. The generic company will launch their generic this December. That is why there is only sample support from a company stand point the product and Clobex as a brand is gone this December. So the original patents can be granted that extend for a long time. However, if a generic company can prove that that their formulation is a bit different than Galderma's they can win the patent challenge. Which they did. Formulation patents are very easy to get around.

So you are correct but the poster that stated the product is gone at the end of this year is also correct.

Moron....clobex spray patent expires Feb 2018, can't you even look it up?

How ignorant is this guy? What the hell do you think a patent challenge is? The person who stated the product is gone is actually correct. Clobex Spray is dead in December in the US markets place. They will continue to sell it in Galderma Europe and or in the Ukraine etc. But who cares? The US is dieing and the US market is what funded Galderma R and D. Therefore, the long term sustainability of the company in its present form may be in question.

I think if you look up the patent on Differin .3 that is probably still in place as well. But as of last week that product is gone too.
