Trust me. I've been here for over 3 years and I do nothing. And I make (on average) as much as the reps who are killing themselves. If they pay you for the Sivextro launch... they will make it up next year with a budget/quota increase beyond your worst imagination. Welcome to Big Pharma.

Cubist does not require X many calls a day, doesn't have a reach and frequency requirement, Cubist does pay us in the top 5% of Americans . Cubist does require us to plan, but it's my plan), cubist does require us to be competent with our robust portfolio. Cubist is committed to the sales force, big Pharma is looking to continually downside the sales force. So grow the fuck up and either try to influence the things you can or get the fuck out. We don't need entitled whiners like you. There are dozens out of work that are right behind you.

Well said, TC. And trust me, I'm looking for another job. But this part time job will do for now.

And the fact remains: Good year. Bad year. Good year. Do absolutely nothing here at The C-word, and on average you will make the same amount of bonus as those out there drinking coolaid. It's simply the way Cubist has designed the compensation plan.

Can't wait for you to leave for your meeting, either. I've already set up a sitter for the kids and I'm going out myself. Sorta like a "vacation" for me and our good looking neighbor down the street.

LMAO! So true! I have been here a little over a year and haven't lifted a finger. Easiest job I have had in pharma in over 10 years. My boss has no clue. I hang with my friends all day long, drink Starbucks, and throw it on my expense report.

Sivextro should be good for $30+ in Starbucks per week. Thank you, Cubist!

I am not sure where you are coming up with no call requirement??? I have a call requirement, my RBD sends out a weekly report pointing out calls not made for 30 and 90 days on targets! WEEKLY CALL REPORT! I am held to reach and frequency on my field visit report, so please try selling that to someone who doesn't work here! Oh did I mention I am evaluated on reach and frequency on my year end evaluation!
 






I sit around and play Xbox all day long (especially during bad snow storms... Or any bad weather... eg, thunderstorms in the summer), read GS's idiotic emails, throw in some phantom Veeva calls, text my manager once a week, and just prepare for my monthly milk run.

I actually love this company. Easiest part-time job ever. And my 2nd business is starting to pick up. Management here is clueless... and I mean that in a good way. ;0)
