Mr Chemical Roadrace, why do always post crap about how point of care testing is going to put the big labs out of business? You have been doing this over the past three years and we are still around. POC testing has it's place, but it will never replace high volume or complex testing. Dream on weird creep.

You honestly think the current system of sending specimens to reference lab is going to last much longer? I have a Barnes and Nobel bookstore I want to offer to sell you.

Look at all the technological advancement around us and you think this antiquated system is going to survive? WAY too many pre-analytic variables that will be eliminated, not to mention the high costs of running a reference lab.
