Astellas calling back August 2016 field sales car program, field Managment to continue with perk fleet.
With the new Purdue flat mileage allowance program, employees receive a set monthly car allowance ($200.00) to offset their business-related driving costs, no mileage allowance.
While flat allowance programs offer high simplicity and are often perceived as equitable, they provide fair reimbursements to Purdue field sales employees since they don’t account for differences in fuel costs, taxes, and insurance premiums. A car allowance IS also taxable, reducing participants’ earnings. Field sales employees are expected to purchase cars by September 1, 2016, no exceptions.
