We are not being told a thing. Has anyone gotten some information? A lot of us have been forced to start getting our resumes out as we don't want to be suddenly out of a job with barely any warning. The 8 to 12 week severance package is such an insult. Whatever happened to caring about the employee?
 






The only info you will get before the deal is approved is salary reduction, Yugo car and the blackberry. If you don't like that answer stop calling NYC.

However I did hear that we will have roommates at every meeting( some of which wont even be from our company), pod mates in the southern and northern states unless your state begins with L,O,S,E,R, lay offs and an expansion at the same time, you will need to have dual Irish citizenship(taxes purposes), denounce the Queen of England, vote democrat and have a positive outlook while embracing change.

Wow you are such a piece of trash making fun of people that will lose their jobs. None of the things you say are true. Absolutely NONE. There will be no roommates or any of that other garbage you regurgitated out of your filthy mouth. This was clearly a home office person who is stressed the hell out. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are trash.
 






The San Diego office can't be saved for several reasons. Feel sorry for the poor people that will parallel existing jobs in place in St. Louis, such as HR, Payroll and Expenses, Aministrative positions, IT, and certain marketing positions such as convention scheduling. Those that will keep their jobs, or rather want to keep their jobs, will need to relocate to St. Louis.

Everyone at corporate should be looking for a new job as there will be very few people that will want to relocate from San Diego to St. Louis. Even if they are able to figure a way to keep corporate in San Diego, it will be a brief and very temporary timeframe. No doubt less than a year. Mallinckrodt already knows there is no financial or profitable reason to keep an office open in California. Think of the enormous costs to keep that, which include rent, taxes, flights back and forth to St. Louis. They will want everyone central and who the hell would want to move to St. Louis?

Mallinckrodt desires to keep RSL, but he will be the only one given a remote option if he decides to stay. Many believe he is looking at other options right now. This was the same way with SB. The rest of the team, especially marketing, will need to relocate as they want to share those resources in St. Louis.

One thing is clear you are stressed the hell out. You must be a treat when talking to a pharmacist who doesn't agree with you. I assume crying is typical. Lighten up.

Home office people do not go to cp for news as they are in the news. The poster was a rep and nice try.

You're an idiot. Even RSL goes on cafepharma. For all the years I have been in the industry home office staff always go on cafepharma to find out what is going on, especially when there are expected changes. It's already clear you wrote the earlier message. Youre the one that needs to lighten up moron. Stress isn't the issue. The issues are idiots like you that try to cause trouble. Now go away trash.
 






Office staff do come on here. I have been at plenty of internal meetings where CP is a butt of a lot of jokes. We like to know what people are thinking. It's part of the job.
 






Try reading the post. Nothing was said about people at home office other then they do not go on cp to find out about news about what is happening in their own office. As the other poster said they go on to get a small sense of what the field is talking about and sadly to get a good laugh.
If you want answers ask your dsm, rsm,rsl, sb, etc. If they don't have answers it could be that they don't have any. Like it or not you have to see how it plays out. Redo a resume, interview, whatever but losing your crap based on a cp post does not display calm under pressure. As of today everyone has a job. How are you going to handle it if you, some or all of us are let go. Clearly there are those who need to pull themselves together.

How are you assuming this is one person? I'm reading this post In disbelief as well. The comment that the jerk left earlier about an approved salary reduction, yugo car etc. was completely immature and their callus comments were uncalled for. The truth is the person that then commented on that wasn't out of line at all because there are jobs on the line. Maybe not sales people, but there are jobs on the line. Some people think this is a big joke and it's not. If you make fun of that, then I agree you are trash.
