Samples

Pathetic! Now we will have a ridiculous waste of time conf call by our managers stating for us to keep positive and what are our thoughts. Just useless... Save it, cancel it we get it! Please spare us the nauseating pain of these useless waste of our selling time of a call regarding this! No wonder docs go to Alcon.

So let me get this straight... Valent wants the numbers to look better at the end of the corner in order to buy Allergan, so they hold off shipping samples. Meanwhile I'm loosing accounts because lack of samples...yeah that makes sense! I guess I don't understand because I don't have a degree from Duke!

Note to Allergan investors: this is what Valeant means by "organic" growth. Not only are cutting costs by giving us fewer samples, but they hold the samples as long as possible. #CookTheBooks

You all are idiots, you were told in advance to be vigilant with your samples. ...and what did you do? Now, you missed managed your territory and you want to blame the company. You don't deserve to be in the position you're in!

I asked when we would get samples again. My boss told me all samples would be released this month. I found out last week in a random conversation that that had changed.

1. Not all managers are passing on the information
2. Why are Regional Directors not putting out emails to entire team with information? Why are we continually finding out the hard way?
3. When will I learn? I fear not sampling. If I have inventory they may not ship to me.

This is stressing me out. I have lost big accounts -lost trust in my ability to support them and mostly, my failed promises of samples on the way.

Grow the business they say, find new writers they say. Do this all WITHOUT resources and samples.

Grow business with gel they say, find new accounts they say, but they never tell us of the price hikes that continually happen, and the fact gel is $190 at the pharmacy for those where it's not covered (still over $100 with coupon), pharmacists are substituting suspension whenever they can and of course it's all profit bc we're not seeing anything from that.

Not complaining, just stating facts.

Yeah. Know what else I was told? That if I grew my Prolensa business, that my sample allotment would increase accordingly. The opposite has happened. My Prolensa volume is up by 20% from Q1 to present as a result of getting a large account and the number of samples I am now receiving has decreased to the point that I am in danger of keeping the accounts I have.

It's the perfect recipe for me NOT to want to get any NEW business because I don't have the samples to support them.

Oh really? Is that why I'm DROWNING in gel samples? I literally can't get in my storage unit bc of all the gel, and they keep sending me more.

I have been with allergan for years. Can not count all the times we had backorders or got no samples. N fact, how many samples do you think we get? You are mostly selling rx for one time usage. Glaucoma & dry eye are chronic and we get less samples than you do. Yes, we get ours quarterly, but if you look at the amounts, you get more. We have had many a time that we were notified customers were not getting samples they counted on. We were not getting samples we counted on. Alphagan, according to agn is a 'sample dependent' drug-we never have samples.

Maybe its your old ISTA reps that are crying? Look where your samples got you there? Very little business and a failed company.
