Sample droppers

One has to think that a time has been reached in many territories in the U.S. that we employ sample droppers. These would be people that just drop samples and leave P.I.'s. Not saying to get rid of pharma reps., just have reps. where they can make an impact and talk to prescribers face to face. These employees would not need a college degree but be certified so to transport FDA approved samples. No company car, not expense account and a salary of about 40K.
I've heard Merck already has started this.

This job has been a dead end for 20 years! I never worked a Friday or a Monday for 25 years, except for meeting, or ride along. I never worked past 1:30, never started work before 10 am. I went to presidents club, and winners circle multiple times. Retired! This is not a career, its a joke! Before cell phones and sample accountability, it was even a bigger joke!
