Sample audit

Unless you have been negligent in your sampling, not entering the correct drug, dose and number left you have little to worry about. I noticed that any unopened box would be carefully scrutinized by the auditor. I tried to have things in order, all dosages together, all lot numbers together and so forth. I would follow in back of the auditor and do a count myself. They can and do make mistakes, I caught one which might have put me out of the allowable limit. If you have a ground floor storage unit, make sure your boxes are up off the floor by some method. They will dock you for having the boxes directly on the floor. You are also required to have them in an air conditioned environment. Novartis would only reimburse 50 dollars per month for a storage unit when I was around, no way to find something like that for 50 dollars in my area.

Good luck and remember.....

Never let the bastards get you down.

well, try doing a sample inventory NOW before the audit..if you have day or two before they show up..then make it right....Keeping track of samples is about the toughest thing to do in this job - a sad commentary on the job and a pretty simple thing to do if you can handle 2nd grade math.

Look, you are working for the crooked Co that has stolen, bribed, cheated for ever. So what's the problem? They do this only to satisfy the gov't regulations that they decided to obey because they are simpe and costs them nothing. That way they can show the authority they are good corp citizen. At the same time they continue to do their old shit, invent new and improved ways to cheat the system and health care. I am sure sooner or later some smart rep who collected the evidence of the shit they do, will blow the whistle on this new shit and do them in as those 3 did last time.
Since this is the fact of you working for the mob, why not do what they do? Make some good extra $$, sell your samples. That's it. You can manipulate the inventory. It is easy just think for a while and you'll have the solution. If I were as crooked as your co I'd give you the instructions.

Good early retirement plan. Novartis will not have any soon

#1- don't panic. Everyone of us get random audits.
#2- be organized and have everything counted and in order. Keep in a locked storage closet or area in your house.(some place logical and secure)
#3- check vantage to make sure you are up to date with your on line quantities etc. acknowledgements are up to date.

don't worry, it's something we all have to do..
