SAM position new territory

I had my phone interview and awaiting a F2F with branch manager for a SAM position in a brand new territory. I am curious of realistic starting compensation? The recruiter mentioned you start out with a base but she either didnt know how much that was or did not want to disclose it. Also, I would love to hear from existing reps on the good, bad, and ugly on the position and company. Thank you
