Salto

Salto sucks. Just wait a year or two and check in with your doc who put them in. 8 out of 10 will have anterior subsidence of the talar component. Inbone is THE ankle right now..

The STAR is a great ankle unless you have a Varus Valgus disorder, at which point the Inbone is the ONLY way to go, even SBi reps and managers can agree with that. Also I heard there are some issues with osteolysis due to the mobile bearing in the STAR. Taking too much bone and violating the sub talar joint are an issue with the Inbone but for Revisions it's the only one to go. The Salto takes a back seat to all the aformentioned brands.

Then why is the Salto cleaning your clock? Why do you not sell any total ankles? The only me too is you and Inbone not having a repeatable ankle that surgeons feel comfortable using.

Inbone is a great revision ankle for the salto patients 6 years out. Also a great ankle for the revision STAR patients around 10 years out
