sales support rep

Can anyone tell me about this position?

Whats the day-to-day like?

Are you basically a b*tch to the TM?

Base salary and bonuses reasonable?

Thanks in advance
This job does require you to hustle but I think you'll find the TM's are right there with you in the trenches. Additionally, with Zoll's rapid territory expansion there is opportunity for promotion provided you are performing. Overall comp is in the $120K to $175K, depending on performance but the real reward is getting a TM slot.

Best of luck.

The overall comp is 55k plus $300 car allowance per two week pay period and up to 20k annually in bonuses, so I'm not sure where the 120-175k comes from, unless they meant for a TM position or they're including your health benefit premiums. Depending on your management, you could be the TM's bitch but that's not the point of the job. The real reward is not becoming a TM. This place is a revolving door for TM's but being an SSR is way more secure and steady. You won't feel burned like most TM's, if you're happy with that pay, it's not a bad job.

Oh, normal day to day- clearing exceptions (getting progress notes for continued use, getting reorders signed, etc.), helping TM's with new orders, inservicing accounts, training offices on our online system called LVN 2.0. 16k of your 20k bonus potential ties directly to your TM's revenue so if your TM's suck, even just one bad TM, your bonus is unlikely to happen but for the most part it is obtainable, at least part of it.

It's not a bad job, even if you are the TM's b*tch. You just do your job, clear exceptions and help them out, depending on location and cost of living, most ssr's feel lucky with the compensation. Coming from a hospital, the work is easier but you do need to hustle and stay organized, get your job done and everyone is happy with you. Most of the complaints on here are in regards to TM's and I fully agree, would hate to be a TM, SSR's don't have the same stress to hit plan like they do.
