Sales Reps Training

Frequently, I hear that a sales rep’s personality makes selecting a MS medication easier for prescribing neurologists and that Biogen’s reps tend to be the most personable. Can someone tell me what you all are teaching the reps there?

thanks

This use to be the case until Chuckels took over. ALL the good Biogen reps have either left of been forced out!

Based on other feedback on the board Chuck seems to be a very good leader. How has he been changing things in your opinion? One guy went as far as to say that he understood the decission to let him go. Very generous if I might say so.

6 years and not really. We learned about MRI and clinical presentation of ms much more in-depth than I would ever expect. Elevated my overall knowledge.

Wonderful to hear that you are being trained to really discuss the science on a deep level and not just being thrown on the curb after a week and a half of dull power-points and “you can do its”! This has to go over well with very busy neurologist who find the time to talk.

Are you Avonex or Tysabri? Who did your training

There is much overlap of the two.

Yes and no. In my Tysabri training we were broken off for the majority of the time from the Avonex reps. In fact I'd say it was 80/20 Tysabri only. Really no overlap at all. Totally different sell, so it seems. I'm new so I can't say that for sure. My trainer was fantastic as I would have to agree with an above poster that the training is world class. Extremely technical and challenging to say the least. The trainer really knew his stuff and we were all thankful for his knowledge.
