I am thinking of taking a position with a distributor, what is a common commission rate that I should expect? Thanks for any input

Distributor Principal gets 25%
You get 15% for in-territory sales
10% for non-territory sales

Beware...find out what facilities Acumed is approved in B E F O R E taking the job.

As above, very good advice to make sure that they are approved in a facility.
(Hell, I think it would be good to include this in some fashion in your contract).

Acumed likes to think they can play hard ball with hospitals and often they have found themselves shut out.
