Was contacted regarding an ortho sales opening. Reading through these threads the company seemed to have been in disarray. Have things changed and the company is on the upswing? Any advice and straight talk appreciated

OBOS is a different company from what it was when most of those other postings occurred in the past. It's not perfect, but it's definitely not in the disarray that it was. Like any other company out there, it has issues, but nothing like it did when BD was running things. I definitely think the company is moving the right direction, but we still have work to do. I have come to realize that all companies have issues, so it's just a matter of what you're willing to put up with. In the grand scheme of things, the issues OBOS has now are ones that can be dealt with if we continue to bring on the right kind of people.

New Hire

Illinois has alot of competion in this market. Its a hard market anywhere, but that territory is pretty saturated. If I were you I would keep looking.

Has it gotten any better lately? I am looking to interview for a sales rep position. Hows the compensation? base and bonus structure like? is it car allowance or car? Serious responses please. Thank you.
