Salary for diabetes contract ong/kxr

I heard the publicis salary range is $57k-65k, with a bonus of 4-8k annually. This seems really low as AZ salary for diabetes position is 78k-85k with car/20k bonus/plus benefits.

Any thoughts? Is the contract salary range really that low?

Yes it really is that low. This is PSS not a big pharma company. PSS gets these temp contracts by low balling, therefore you get paid shit. ENJOY!

This is correct. Mixed in with a $600/month car allowance and $.19/mile.

If you are not happy with the salary - don't apply or accept if offered. This is a contract company, not a manufacturer - If you are so interrested in AZ - go work for them. I am sure there are plently of out of work reps who would be more than happy with this salary range.

I heard that you have to perform oral sex on your DM during calls(to completion!) and on your top 20 docs in order to make quota and get a good review? I think this is TERRIBLE!

Just get drunk and sing "I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner" whilst slurping on the sausages.

It'll make the time go by faster...hell, you might even enjoy it, Sparky!!

Well, I was told target bonus is 20% of the salary, which is what is reflected in my offer letter. So, for a 60K salary, target bonus is $12,000. I was also told that for those with the highest attainment, the bonus is higher, based on a scale.

The salary does suck, but then again I don't spend hours making business plans, don't have to create and run speaker programs(at least so far-we'll see what happens with dapa), have no company voice mail to hassle with, have not been asked for constant success stories, have not been micromanaged, etc. So, I'm good with it for a while.

PSS is THE worst of the contract companies….by far. As far as AZ goes, they are a nightmare to deal with! I have a very close friend that is a rep there and he can't stand the company nor the management! PSS recruiters will lie through their damn teeth about bonus potential! Hold out for either a permanent position or look at another contract company.

The above post is absolutely spot on. PSS is without a doubt the lowest scum of the CSOs and the recruiters are ridiculous. AZ is the worst of all the big pharma nightmares. Having these two work together is like Hitler and Jeff Dahlmer joining forces. Stay far away from this fiasco.

I'll have to agree but if you can't afford to wait for another opportunity, a position with pss can't be very time consuming. I worked 12-15 hours a week with pss and went to a big co direct hire and worked 3 times more for only 15-20k more a year. For some its worth it but for me it wasn't. Just set expectations low n keep looking if you get an offer.

I have heard of salaries being capped but bonus? If you sell more then you should make more. Maybe one person if any will make cap bonus. It's just extra cheese for the bigs at PSS to share at the end of the year. Pay a rep $500 or $1000 and you might keep them happy with that while you take the other portion left on the table. Contract game is so fixed it isn't funny. Yes in todays economy 65K is a nice salary but your in sales right? No promotion here no raise and no respect is all you get from PSS and that is a promise. I almost forgot the big one. No new contract and this they will tell you is being worked on as the end of yours approaches. Looking for a dead end job? Apply at PSS now they are hiring.

Recruiter and even hiring manager may say bonus is uncapped and when the offer comes it will say capped.

I am on the Ong/KXR DS4 contract and just received Q3 bonus. There may be an upper limit on the bonus, but you can make more based on product performance, as well as DM evaluation. And, further, my offer letter only states what the target bonus is, which is 20% of salary. I received well above the target bonus.

Could you share how much more in bonus you received? Newly hired reps were basically hired, trained via online (which half the time DIDN'T WORK!!), had to learn 3 products within one week, and then travel to the boonies in a snowstorm of which some of us couldn't make due to a blizzard!! No way I'd leave my state for training they could've easily postponed until AFTER THE STORM! This was by far the most unorganized training I've had!
