Salary and potential/goal commission

What's the salary and potential/goal commission for the new product/s?

I interviewed and received an email and spoke with recruiter stating hiring mgr will get back with me next week however, I received another offer with another company two days ago! The other company is also specialty and I was offered $65k salary with two years in specialty division and 2.5 yrs of total pharma sales. But they need me to sign the accepted offer by early this week. Both companies seem to be similar as far as growth and territory market. I think there is great potential in my territory but if my total take home were to be less than 100k yearly, it may not be worth it.

Thank you so much for serious answers in advance!!

I'm in the same boat.. Still waiting to hear back but got confirmation that DM will be calling me for an offer.
Anyone wanna shed light on salary and potential bonus??!

Salary high 60s, low 70s. If they offer less, DON'T take it!! This company is not like most pharma companies. A bunch of Me-too drugs and managed care sucks in most areas!

Salaries are comparable. Commission depends on territory. Goals can be outlandish. You don't get credit for every script. Just ones from short list of targets. Small amount of people at the top make great commissions, the rest not so much.

Exactly. Best to negotiate highest salary as possible or you may be working specialty division for primary care money!!

Don't ask so many questions, weakling; take what they offer you and be grateful. Depomed is at the pinnacle of the pharma industry, and we have one of the leading minds in the business.... JV.... leading the way in Sales Ops to make this company profitable.

We got rid of the waste product know as FLEX, and we are working on thinning the herd of the crappy specialty reps.
Take the offer, do your training and get to work. If you're lucky, maybe JV will talk to you at the next POA.

it really depends on your territory. one thing for sure, is that coverage here sucks! with branded generics you are basically spending most of your days convincing why your drug is better than generics. you're selling insurance coverage vs the drug itself. if you got another offer u might be better off with the other company if youre unemployed take it but you will get fed up after a couple months or so.

Oh hey and just a word of advice to you Cambia leftovers. We don't want you and don't need you.

Home office will juice you for your knowledge then kick you to the curb.

You're not being welcomed by the sales team with open arms... FYI

^only a desperate rep with no common sense would take a job without meeting or interviewing with their future DSM... Top performers right there JV.

These overlay reps are coming in with such attitudes and talking to us like we are pieces of shit. NOBODY CARES how well you did with Cambia! Try selling Gralise for awhile and then come show me how great you are ASSHOLES!
